静岡・清水モデラーズギャラリービルの7階にある、ちょっと見逃しそうな場所ですが、入ってみると意外と面白かったです。静岡がプラモデルの聖地だというのは聞いていましたが、ここでは地元のクリエイターによる作品が展示されていて、すごく丁寧に作られているのが伝わってきました。ギャラリー自体は大きくありませんが、車、飛行機、電車、戦車など、幅広いジャンルの模型が見られて、模型に詳しくなくても楽しめると思います。入場無料なのも嬉しいポイント。派手さはないけど、静かに熱を感じる場所。模型や静岡のローカル文化に興味がある人なら、一度立ち寄ってみる価値はあります。Shimizu Modelers Gallery – ShizuokaTucked away on the 7th floor, it’s easy to miss — but I’m glad I went in. I’d heard that Shizuoka is famous for plastic models, and this little gallery really reflects that heritage. All the displays are made by local creators, and you can feel the care and pride that went into each piece.The space isn’t big, but it’s packed with cool models — from cars and planes to trains and tanks. Even if you’re not a model hobbyist, it’s still pretty interesting to look around. And the best part? It’s completely free.It’s not flashy, but that’s part of the charm.
