I happened to pass this tea shop in Nissaka today while hiking on the Tokaido. The reception was very friendly and warm. I was able to try various teas before I bought some. The taste and quality are really excellent! Highly recommended! Many thanks and best wishes from Germany.
Their teas are amazing, it’s a fifth-generation family run business, small organization producing a lot of high quality tea. Everyone was so kind and friendly. They have a small shop to try their teas and buy kushyu ceramics. We were also able to tour their factory, but inquire in advance to see if this is possible.
Very lovely personell, helped me a lot. One employer, I think a manager, even drove me to the 711 and back to the station after. Great tea, great service, made a Dutchman happy. Arigatou Goizamashta.

Visited on Thursday on our way to Shizuoka. The staff were extremely friendly and hospitable once we walked into their building. They offered us a variety of teas, sweets for the kids and even showed us to a nearby grazing area for a number of goats! They even gave a small present for the kids, which they totally did not need to as well. Visit them if you drive past the area to get a taste of their teas and more!! Thank you.
