We are only on day 2 of our 5 day stay and already never want to leave. This place is a unique paradise. A large home for 2 people that is very well-stocked, comfortable furniture, and an expensive yard that stretches to the ocean with multiple private pocket beaches for you to choose from.I can't even describe how peaceful and beautiful it is here. The beach is full of tiny hermit crabs and butterflies. The night sky is breathtaking. You can view the sunset from the property with no one else around. Water is crystal clear and always around 29C.I could go on and on. The host, Susan, is lovely as well and a great communicator. Always willing to help and answer questions.Absolutely worth the many many hours on planes and trains.

Incredible place on the most private, beautiful coastline you can imagine. My family rented the main house for a week. The house has all the comforts. The area is stunning. There’s a reef just offshore that you can snorkel from the beach with great marine life. We kayaked from beach into the mangroves. You must rent a car on Ishigaki. While this stay looks further away from town on the map, that’s a good thing because you don’t want to stay in Ishigaki City. This coastline was my favorite - the tide makes it interesting as you can walk to neighboring beaches when the tide is low. Rent a car on Ishigaki and the drives are beautiful - the roads are perfect. There are a few restaurants nearby, and it’s just as nice to eat at the house. It’s a magical place, and anyone who can stay here should consider themselves lucky.
