Exhibits give a great overview of the history and culture of the island, including the sports of sumo and bull fighting (bull versus bull). There's a collection of pretty shells. Everything is in Japanese, so a translation app is handy for non-Japanese people. Museum is in a large hall on the third floor of a municipal building, and you may need to ask an office worker to open it. Free admission and I assume open during office hours.
島に3つある資料館のうち、１番良いと思います。ここだけ無料です。駐車場が狭いので★3つとしておきます。

郵便局の向かいの図書館の3階に資料館があります。入り口に名前を記入するところがあり入場料は無料です。資料館はそんなに大きくないですがしっかり解説もついていて見応えもあり楽しめます。
