エレベーターで5階に上がると、清潔で整ったサロンが出迎えます。
囲碁を楽しみながら、無料の美味しい緑茶が楽しめますよ。
A very nice place where people play Go! We used Google Translate to communicate The people here are very police and helpful. I played against a woman who beat me at Go. Here are their hours.
Came by myself here, not knowing my ranking beforehand or anything. Played a 9 stone game against a staff member and then the other staff member matched me up with other patrons and told us what handicap to play with. Not having many opponents in my home country, this was an incredible experience. Spent 800¥, played 4 games over the course of 3 hours on a Thursday evening, and there was food and beer that the staff shared with me.
Played 2 games without any japanese knowledge. The place had a super welcoming atmosphere and great tea included in the cover price! Learned a lot, highly recommend to everyone interested in Go to visit.
Nipped in at around 2pm on a Tuesday.The salon is clean and tidy, and clearly cared for. I was greeted by two staff members, one of which spoke good English. I had come alone as (I think) a 9 kyu player, and they both had games with me.Played for about 3 hours, only cost 1100 yen, well worth it, and I got some nice green tea.If back in Kyoto will revisit.
Wonderful place with really good players! For 1100 yen you can play however many games you want.

The go salon is on the fifth floor and it costs 1100 yen to enter. Go through the small entrance and take the elevator up :) I had such a great time playing go here! I played four or five games in a span of 2,5 hours. The people are very nice and welcoming. When I was there, someone spoke a little bit English, and with my broken Japanese we could talk a little bit, which was a lot of fun as well! Thank you for the great time!
