Fantastic experience, went with my partner and from the moment we stepped in to the moment we took our kimonos off the staff here were amazing.Multiple opportunities to take photos, great insight into Japanese culture - and the best part… the KIMONOS. Absolutely beautiful, got great photos and they looked impeccable. As a bloke I didn’t fancy the idea of wondering around in a kimono but after getting it on - I wanted to keep it!
It was the best experience of my trip! I was able to learn about tea, about traditions and all tea ceremony wearing my kimono, was perfect! Everything so clean, beautiful and amazing! They are so polite and sweet! I love it so much!!!
I had a wonderful experience at the tea ceremony in Gion Orizuruya. The atmosphere was calm and very authentic, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Everything was explained in an easy and enjoyable way, and making matcha myself was a lovely experience. And you can wear the Kimono till 5pm for free! A perfect place to learn about Japanese culture — highly recommended!
Noi abbiamo prenotato in anticipo su get your guide.

Such a beautiful and memorable experience! The tea ceremony was incredibly traditional and thoughtfully done, everything was explained clearly, which made it easy to appreciate the meaning behind each step. The kimonos were absolutely stunning, and the staff helped us get dressed and even did our hair, which made the whole experience feel extra special. Everyone was so kind and attentive, and the setting was elegant and peaceful. It truly felt like stepping into another time. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Japan!
