周辺のオススメ
聖天社当社の初代別当である湛海寶山律師が刻んだ聖天像が残されています。江戸時代には参道中腹にある別当坊の前に聖天堂がありましたが、明治の廃仏毀釈により撤去されました。寶山律師は当社の別当職を辞した後、生駒に移り生駒聖天と称される寶山寺を建立されました。現在本殿内に安置。（粟田神社HPより）Seidensha ShrineThe statue of Seiden carved by Tankai Hozan Risshi, the first chief priest of this shrine, remains here. During the Edo period, there was a Seiden Hall in front of the bettobo temple halfway up the approach to the shrine, but it was removed during the anti-Buddhist movement in the Meiji period. After Hozan Risshi left his position as chief priest of this shrine, he moved to Ikoma and built Hozanji Temple, also known as Ikoma Seiden. It is currently enshrined within the main hall.
