京都産の美しいバッグが揃い、品質と価格のバランスが素晴らしいです。
Definitely worth a visit. The owner is a sweet, kind lady who will show you everything and tell you all about it. I don't speak Japanese, but she used words in English here and there and we somehow managed to communicate quite well. I bought an amazing bag and a beautiful piece of fabric.

Once you finish the great and scenic path, you must end it with a great product.The owner lady was warmly welcoming her customers and super communicator, despite the English level of both of us.Proudly offering Kyoto made fabrics and products, which are guaranteed to be liked for their quality and well crafted things.I’ll surely repeat buying whenever returning to the lovely Kyoto.Arigato to the owner.
After visiting the temple, we passed by the shop, and I decided to go inside to look for the bag displayed in the window.The owner was very nice and always smiled. Although she spoke a bit of English, there was no problem communicating. She was very kind and explained the textiles to me. I bought one bag from her and returned today to purchase two more bags. They are really beautiful with a good price. I recommend anyone who loves textiles to stop by and check her products. There are a variety of products available at low to high prices.
Small shop selling Kyoto made fabric items. It is owned by a lovely lady who is very attentive and explain the different motifs and design behind the items. I will come back when I visit Kyoto again!
川島織物さんのお着物や小物を取り扱っていらっしゃるお店です。いずれも素敵なものばかりですが、意外とお値段が手頃なものもあります。モダンというか洋装に合う小物も多く、普段使いにもよさそうです。
An amazing little shop we stumbled upon, the owner was super attentive and eager to help and offer advice. This store works with Kawashima fabric and makes exquisite pieces, I saw a bag that I loved, and the owner let me know it was one-of-a-kind, handmade by herself. It looked high quality at a glance, and I was even more impressed once I felt it and had a closer look. It was really a steal at this quality and price. Will definitely have to come back next time I'm in Kyoto.

Such a beautiful store with a beautiful owner and beautiful products. She explained so much interesting things about the tradition of the fabrics, patterns and companies that produce them. Definitely worth a visit but mostly, worth each and every cent purchased and every minute spent there. I will definitely go back when possible.
