Kana is the loveliest senseiWe loved the experience. She prepared for us based on what we wanted and we visited different factories and was amazing to have her translating us and showing us Kyotos best little secret spots. Arigato gozaimasu Kana san 🫂🤍✨🌙
I met virtually with Kana (Kyoto Fermentation Lab) to learn more about the uses of sake kasu, and she thoroughly explained all the properties and provided a wide variety of recipe ideas! She was very prepared and had supplementary materials to complement the lesson that were well-thought-out, informative and engaging. Kana is generous, understood my questions very well and adapted the meeting to my interests. I would highly recommend if you are interested in learning more about fermentation and sake/koji!

We went in Japan for our honey moon. Since we’re fascinated by Japanese fermentation tecniques we tried to find some workshops or related activities. Finding Kana was a real stroke of luck, she was nice and careful in planning our activities. The possibility to meet some local masters was really life changing for us. We strongly recommend to contact her if you went to deep dive in Japanese fermentation culture.
