We arrived late at night 8pm +. Mr hide was so attentive and greeted us at the main door in the cold to guide us to the house parking 🥹 he was incredibly warmed and showed us around the house immediately even though it was so lateOur only regret was not staying at least 2 days to fully appreciate his beautiful home (that I understand is a self renovated 100 year old traditional Japanese house)!Gas heaters were provided and I really appreciated how he installed speakers around the house & played peaceful music all day long! Breakfast was very filling with a whole loaf of soft bread provided & absolutely delicious!! Mr hide cooked for us since 7amHe also heard me coughing the whole night and gave me cough drops for free 🥹Nuan & Riku were absolute cuties and ran in and out our rooms quite a bit ❤️
最高でした！駐車場があって助かりました。オーナーさんから観光スポットやレストランをたくさん教えてもらいました。りくくんとノアくんも可愛くて、たくさん遊んでもらえて嬉しかったです。2泊では物足りなかったので、また来ます！👏
猫好きにはたまらない宿です！昔の民宿と同じで部屋の境界はふすまです。隣を気にする人はやめた方が良いと思います。私の場合は隣の方の到着が遅く、先に寝てしまい問題ありませんでした。
There are historic buildings that can be observed carefully, some special places.The B&B has cats, but you have to be careful when opening the door of the room, as the cats will rush in if you are not paying attention, which is very interesting. The breakfast was very delicious, and the owner was very enthusiastic to share many nearby attractions. However, it was a pity that I only stayed for one night. Next time, I need to stay a few more days to explore Minamiaso.I am very grateful to the boss for being willing to drive me to the station on the day of check-out because I missed the bus, so that my trip could continue smoothly.ありがとうございますBy the way, if you go on weekends, you must try the Thai restaurant opened by the boss next door.

九州への旅行は24年ぶりで、高千穂の観光のあとに当ホテル🏨で宿泊する予定です。
おおげさでなく、最高でした。懐かしくてあたたかい古民家の魅力と、快適さや清潔さ・高いセキュリティーが共存しています。何よりオーナーさん達(猫のノアン君も)のおもてなしの心が本当に最高です。簡単な自炊であれば可能なキッチンや、ウォシュレット付きのトイレなど、共有スペースも大変充実しています。お風呂は無いですが、車で数分の場所に日帰り温泉施設がありますよ。徒歩数分で行ける明神池名水公園の湧水は、白川水源にも負けない綺麗さと美味しさでした。もし予約が可能であれば、文句無しにおすすめです。

We really loved our stay at Momiji. The location in Minamiaso is beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by nature, and it was a perfect base for exploring the Aso area and Takachiho.The room was clean and comfortable, and the whole place had a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, giving us useful advice for the area and even helping us book a wonderful dinner at a local restaurant.And of course, a special mention to Nuan and Riku, the two lovely cats of the house, who made our stay even more memorable.We would definitely stay here again.
