Very sweet host, clean rooms and bathroom facilities, free towels and yukata to wear. I used the fridge, microwave, and laundry which all worked well. AC and WiFi worked well. No meals but the supermarket is literally next door.
很喜歡老闆人很好聊了很多因為我不會日文 也很努力的用英文跟我溝通還有小抄 很可愛哈哈還推薦附近的餐廳以及超市有冰箱微波爐可以使用房子雖然老舊 但浴室房間都很乾淨重點是還有傳統按摩椅！每次在錢湯都很喜歡當天只有我入住使用了很久而且不用錢！舒緩了遍路途中累積的腰酸背痛！推薦大家一定要來！洗衣不用錢烘衣200日圓也有大陽台可以曬衣服。
The best thing about this place is the very friendly and helpful owner. He is a Ohenro himself and really appreciated his support for the next days booking. Also early check in was totally fine and the bathtub was already prepared. Just great! However the place is not the newest and close to a big street, that should be kept in mind. But still a good place to stay during Ohenro. Thanks for hosting me!
This is my second time staying here as a walking pilgrim. I recommend it for its good value and nice owner.The owner is a very welcoming older gentleman. He is diligently practicing English. He helped me make some future reservations, and overall was very kind. I felt happy to see him again.The building is old but acceptable. Rooms are upstairs on the second floor. Bath seems newer and is quite nice. The only toilet is an old Japanese style. The sinks do not seem to have hot water. Outside there is a washer and dryer (¥200 = 40 minutes), and a clothesline to hang-dry in warm weather.There was some road noise, but I slept fine. The room aircon worked well. Towel and yukata are provided. The hallway has bookshelves of old manga, which are interesting.Cost for one night was ¥4500, which I think is reasonable. No meals are offered. But the owner can tell you where to get food nearby. I'm not sure what the hotel's maximum capacity is, but probably small considering it's operated by only one guy.I would stay again. It's basic, but good for pilgrims. Thank you.
Very, very friendly host, who speaks some English. Everything is clean, there was hot water and tea in the room when I arrived, wifi is available, fridge and washing machine and dryer as well.
I’ve been here on my pilgrimage in April 2023.I’ve also bring another pilgrim with me that I met on the way who did not have accommodation for the night.The host is super super friendly and kind hearted. He really tries to speak and learn English but he will also use translator Apps.The room was nice and there is a fridge in the kitchen, microwave and so on everything you need. Smokers can go outside on the veranda what was very convenient for me.The host will tell you where to find the shops nearby and what’s the best time to go there to get discount haha. Very nice and thoughtful of him.The bathtub seemed really new and clean to me. I took a bath there and there are actually some places where I didn’t because it felt dirty to me. Not this one. I liked it very much.I had a good sleep but I also always bring my own pillow with me.There are two free washing machines on the veranda too. You can use a dryer it will cost 200 Yen for 40 minutes.
