It's a new open guesthouse in Shingucho, Shikokuchuo, Ehime. The owner renovated the old Japanese style house built 100 years ago. We could enjoy staying here with very nice hospitality of the owner. Even for Japanese, it's the very unique experience to stay at Kominka(old Japanese style house), and you can visit the famouse Road Side Station "Kirinomori", the beautiful clear river, Kumano Shrine where is the roots of these area.I really recommend you guys to stay here, because you can go sightseeing around Shikoku, Kogomian is located in the very central of the Shikoku island. I wanna visit here again in the near future.

Lovely country escape. The scenery and setting are amazing, and the hosta are some of the best I have encountered in any home stay that we have done. Friendly and helpful, and happy to share the history of their home. The house is spacious and comfortable. It is a 100 year old house, but surpassed my expectations. A great lifetime memory.
