We spent 3 nights at Keiko's amazing place, and we could have stayed much longer as it truly felt like a home away from home. She came to greet us, showed us around the house, explained how everything worked, and even stayed a bit longer making us tea and giving some great recommendations of things to do and places to eat in the area. She went the extra mile and helped us find a special restaurant for our following stop in Kyoto - she really was a star. The house was so beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was spacious and well equipped - we could enjoy a few dinners there, followed by very pleasant relaxing time at the kotatsu area next room. Thanks Keiko, this was our highlight accommodation in Japan :)
A beautiful house in the suburbs, with easy access to Nakatsugawa train station, the bus stop is a 2 minute walk. A quiet, peaceful location. We took food to cook, which was a plessure in a well equipped kitchen.The house is a beautiful traditional Japanese house, with tatami mats and very comfortable futons.Our hostess, Keiko was fantastic, she was very efficient at answering any questions we had, even giving us a detailed train itinerary, ensuring we didn't miss the last bus of the evening from Nakatsugawa station to the accommodation.Keiko helped us resolve a problem we had regarding our next accommodation.Thank you, a fantastic stay.

Beautiful house and incredible hospitality, I would highly recommend for a traditional Japanese experience. The host was so lovely and welcoming, she even picked us up from the station.

Keiko’s place is fantastic and the best placed that we stayed in Japan. She offers a gorgeous traditional Japanese home on the edge of town. Behind the house are rice patties and a crop of green tea. At night, a chorus of frogs sing a beautiful lullaby. Our host, Keiko, is a kind and warm person ensuring your stay is fantastic.
