I think the owner must be the coolest guy I ever met. He gave us a clear explanation about the bicycles and a bottle of water when we left. The bikes looked brand new and worked perfectly. It's such a nice way to explore the town, to turn a corner on the bike and suddenly see mount Fuji! Thanks again, we had a great time!

Great place to pickup bike rentals. Owner is friendly and flexible. Bicycles were very well maintained, comes equipped with lights and phone holder. Power- assisted bikes are an option and makes for a smooth ride. Although it costs a little more than a daily bus pass, this option offers you to travel in your own time, takes you off the beaten path, and avoids lining up and cramming into a packed bus. Adding in some photos from the day.
Good electric bikes. Cycled around lake all day great experience without any battery or performance problem.Bike has key light power gears & is very good condition.Owner is friendly and gave water, map and suggestions. Owner is charismatic also.Price is fair for full day and worth it.
Amazing bike rental store! I stayed at a hotel nearby so it was a perfect location - away from the bus terminal where more tourists would rent their bikes from and early rental.2.8K yen for full day (7am to 5.30pm) electric bike rental. Store owner looked very cool and friendly to tourists. He showed us how to use the bike - flash light, bike power, kick stand, bike lock, wheel lock. He even swapped the bike when my phone could not fit in the smaller phone holder. Gave us 2 bottles of water too.Bike was in super good condition. Pretty blue colour great for pictures! Along the ride, I saw other riders' bikes and they looked very worn. So I was so glad I went with this store.We managed to cycle 1 round of Lake Kawaguchiko! Electric bike is a MUST! Saved our legs and the power was vroom. I will definitely rent from this store when I come back!
THE shop for bike rentals in Lake Kawaguchiko! I passed by a couple other stores, and Carp Rental Bicycle was the most affordable. We were able to rent a bike for ¥1600 for the entire day!Additionally, this shop opens super early at 7am compared to others.Huge thank you to the kind owner who taught us how to utilize the bike, gave us a map and water bottles for the trip.
Best bikes around the lake! The bikes looked brand new and the battery was never ending, we could go around all the day and still had 70% left when we returned the bikes in the late afternoon.The service was excellent and super friendly, we couldn’t be much happier.On top it’s one of the first shops to open in the morning, so you can enjoy all the day.We paid 2800 Yen for the electric bikes for the whole day.A big recommendation if you’re looking for bikes to go around in the area.
