Great laundromat. 400 yen for a 30 min wash cycle (white units) and it injects its own washing detergent. Then in the red units it’s 100 yen for 10 min drying cycle. If you are drying activewear you could get away with 1 cycle but with jeans and jumpers probably need 2-3 cycles.

This laundry shop is about a 6-minute walk from M’s Hotel, where I’m staying in Kyoto. The shop has several machines available, including three large washer-dryer combo machines, two small washers, two large dryers, and four medium dryers, so there are plenty of options depending on your laundry needs.There is also a sneaker washer and sneaker dryer, which is the first time I’ve ever seen machines specifically for washing shoes — quite interesting!I visited around 9:30pm on a Monday and it wasn’t very busy. The laundry room was warm and comfortable. There is also a coin exchange machine that allows you to change ¥1000 notes into ¥100 coins, which is very convenient.The prices are quite reasonable:• 10kg wash & dry: about ¥1000• 16kg wash & dry: about ¥1200• 10kg washer: about ¥400• 14kg dryer: ¥100 for 10 minutesOverall, the environment is clean and comfortable. The shop also provides two baskets, a table, and some chairs for customers to use while waiting. A convenient and affordable place to do laundry in Kyoto.

Excellent and familiar laundry machines! Easy to use and relatively less expensive than some other shops in Kyoto. Like another reviewer noted, red machines are wash and yellow for dry. This shop also has a sneaker wash and dry machine!
Easy to use laundromat. The red machines are washer/dryers. The yellow machines are for drying. For my clothes, I used 4kg/8lbs setting that cost 800 yen. Took 40min. The clothing was still damp, so I threw it in the dryer for 20 min which costs 100 yen per 10 min.
Clean and efficient! Easy to figure out when using Google Translate. Nice folding area with baskets. There is a change machine if you don't have enough coins; the machine takes 100 and 500 yen coins. Our clothes were a little musty smelling coming out of the washing/drying unit, and some were a bit wet still; that along with the cost being higher than I would have thought leads to a one star deduction.
Clean laundromat. There is no English signage on how to use the machines. The red machines are fully automatic washer/dryers and can do up to 10 kg of laundry and up to 16 kg of laundry. The white machines are machines that can only do laundry up to 10 kg. Yellow machines are for drying only. Vertical washing machines are for shoes. Be sure to put your laundry in the machine before putting in the money. Once you put in the money and close the door, the washing process begins, and the door is locked and cannot be opened until the washing process is finished. Detergent and fabric softener are included in the fee and are automatically added.

周辺のオススメ
ホテルの近くのコインランドリーは22:00には閉まっており、また24hのところより安かったのでこちらを利用しました。スマホで空き具合や終了時間が見れるのと、アプリ無しでスマホ決済できるのは良かったです。冷房ついていそうですが中で待つには暑かったので、もう少し冷房効いていてくれると嬉しいです。また京都来た際は利用させていただきます！
