I've been diving with DZT for over five years, and they are fantastic! The instructors and staff are knowledgeable and fun to be around. If you're looking for a trustworthy dive shop in Tokyo, look no further! I highly recommend them!
Been diving with DZT for years, best English speaking diving service in Tokyo.Did my PADI Rescue diver, dry suit diver and TDI intro to TEC with the instructors here and they were always helpful!
If you are looking to dive in Japan, especially within driving distance from Tokyo, then I highly recommend syncing up with DZT. Even more so if you don't speak much Japanese since they organize in English and help bridge that gap with dive shops that don't offer English. DZT has spend years getting to know many local dive spots around the area and what each has to offer so there is no shortage of places to try out. They have fun and knowledgeable instructors, divemasters, and participants that are always willing to help and give advice.
Great instructors and great community! The courses are not “tickboxes” and go beyond to really teach you good diving skills. Participants in every outing are friendly and helpful. Post dive onsen and food are a great bonus to any trip !
Learned to love this group over the last year. Started with a drysuit course in February, then joined about any fun diving event possible. As I dont speak Japanese this is a great way to get to dive sites which have Japanese speaking shops only.Recently took the TDI Advanced Nitrox + Decompression Diving course. Lots of practice time and extremely supportive instructor.
I wouldn’t have been able to as effectively navigate the Japan diving scene without DiveZone Tokyo’s help & expertise. Whether diving on the Izu peninsula, Izu islands, Okinawa, or drift diving a river in Gifu prefecture, the organized trips have made enjoying Japan scuba diving so much easier. I don’t speak Japanese, & diving in America (& other countries I’ve visited) is a very different system. DiveZone Tokyo emphasizes dive safety, dive education, & dive fun, & has helped me to work on higher level scuba certification. I’ve gotten so much more out of Japan scuba diving than I previously had heard about or expected (& I moved here from Hawaii), & thank this group of professionals for their support!
DiveZone Tokyo is the ideal group for international divers who want to dive in Japan. There are other places then Okinawa to dive in Japan. The rental equipment is very good. The group spirit is great.
Nicely organized and fun diving trips with good buddies.いつもナイスバーディーとファンダイビング出来る店。楽しさたまらない(^_^)

My girl friend and I joined golden week Malapascua island diving trip and it became one of my best diving trip!At that time, we only had open water license and a few dive experiences, but the organizer, Ben, was very attentive and kind for answering questions quickly, inviting to social event to get to know people. Since it was our first time to join the group and it was nice to get to know people at the dinner before going to the big trip!People who were on the trip were all very experienced - more than 100 dives and some people were there to take even higher license. But everyone was so nice and welcoming! We did not feel like left it alone! The island was famous for Thresher shark dive which requires advanced license to go 40+ meter deep, so we ended up taking advanced course there. Doing shark dive was also part of class, so it did not feel like taking a class at all. This opened up my passion for diving! Super recommended for beginners to advanced divers. You will meet fun, friendly people :)
