The owner Keith, is an old friend of mine and a Navy vet. He's done an outstanding job fixing this space up and making it comfortable and welcoming! As the name implies, it's very US military friendly. Go check it out!
I've been to a couple of bars here in Iwakuni, and I'll tell ya' DD-214 is a fantastic bar. Keith the owner is a great dude to just sit down and talk to if he's not too busy. He's always playing great music. But he'll stop the music and turn on the Karaoke on request and the "Usuals" are all a blast. I haven't heard of any negative incidents (fights, ARI's, etc.) So come on down and get a drink and listen to some awesome music and some great priced drinks.
If you find the name funny well then, you found a great bar. Good prices, great atmosphere & friendly service.
