My husband and I visited Bar Irori recently~~Husband had heard about the doburoku brewed by the owner and was very excited to try it. The origin story behind Bar Irori is really fascinating as well!Transport:- There was complimentary transport pickup and drop off from our accommodation (Tsukigatani Onsen) which was very helpful (especially if you plan to drink/ not too confident with driving along uphill winding roads after sunset)- Driver was one of the staff at Bar Irori, very commendable driving!Owner (Mr Niki) and his staff were really welcoming towards us and the food was lovely (10/10) amidst jazz music playing in the background. At the time of our visit, one of the staff was a chef who had worked in Australia and was doing an internship with Bar Irori. He was very kind to help translate between English and Japanese during our conversation with Bar Irori team.Thank you for the memorable last evening in Shikoku(:

We had a lovely time at this authentic bar. A pickup at our accommodation was possible a well, so nothing to worry. The drinks are very reasonable priced and we were welcomed by everybody. Huge recommendation!
A quaint and cozy bar nestled in the Japanese countryside. Affixed to a sake brewery, one can expect nothing but the best. The owner is a friendly and knowledgeable host you can trust to guide you into the evening. The atmosphere is homely and friendly where mingling with others and the locals is encouraged. Food and drinks are excellent at very reasonable prices. Pick-up and drop off is provided to the nearby Onsen hotel making an evening here a no-brainer.
ゴールデンウィークに訪れてとても良い時間を過ごせた。自分が行ったときは、徳島名物の半田そうめんを使った汁なし坦々麺があってとても美味しかった。辛さを抑えてくれるサービスもあった。お値段もリーズナブルで、風通しよくおしゃれな広々とした店内でゆっくり時間を過ごせてとても気持ちがいい。
