Mr. Sugie was very knowledgeable about the history behind all the pieces in the shop. He was very on top of all the processes needed to ship and transport a sword back to the US as well. Not only was his proficiency impressive, but the quality of his art pieces were as well. I would highly recommend visiting his store when in Japan.
刀剣、古美術に関しては全くの素人ですが、立ち寄らせて頂いた際、大変丁寧に応対して下さりありがとうございました。取り扱っておられる御品に対して誇りと愛情をを持ってられる立派なお店でした。
ここでコメントしている人で実際に買った人っていないんでしょうね。買わないでここで文句を垂れるのは非生産的。骨董屋に上質な接客を求める方が間違い。特にここはアメ横に立地し、通りすがりの客がひっきりなしに見るだけでふらっと入って来る店。いちいち丁寧に応対してられないでしょう。銀座や京橋、青山の高級店（値段も）ではないのです。まずは1万円でもいいから買って、お客になる事です。

I bought an item from the shop, service is professional, Haruo san answered every questions patiently and they also helped me to ship the item overseas with very professional and safe packaging.I also asked him the review related to the "put different items in the package", he also clarified the situation. However, I am not in the position to explain for him. Seems like someone wants to take advantage tho.Beside, Japan discourages talking on phone in public place or in the shop, please respect the culture instead of leaving angry comment.If you have good manner, Haruo san will definiely happy to assist you.
