Wonderful experience! The host did not speak English and our Japanese is limited but she made such effort to help us and communicate. Amazing recommendations and such tasty food. The squid was especially great. We also had the fried chicken and grilled fish and it was all delicious. So pleased we found this gem!
Mama is the best and her cooking skills are divine! Try the kimchi pokka or the squid, all delicious.

Came here as I am staying close and saw a few recommendations from locals and tourists, raving about this place... it lived up to expectations... food was delicious, all of it, tasty freezing-cold beer, wonderful service from the hostess and pleasant conversation (through a language barrier) from friendly locals and residents. Excellent Izakaya in Tokyo :)
