nice and tidy house with a pretty large selection of board games for all ages. check in and out was without issues. we had a great and cozy stay and tried multiple games.only notable downside is the location. the railroad is pretty close and trains are very frequent, so i recommend earplugs at night.

We booked this accommodation through a reservation website. Most of the board games come with both Japanese and English instructions, allowing guests to enjoy a wide variety of games regardless of the language they speak. Some of the games are ones that can only be purchased in Germany, a country well known for its board game culture, which makes this place especially appealing for board game enthusiasts.Regarding check-in, which some other guests had pointed out as an issue, we personally had no problems. As of the time of our stay, it was possible to leave luggage at the entrance after 1:00 PM. The official check-in time was from 5:00 PM, as stated on the booking site. Since we had completed the guest registration in advance via the website sent to us through the booking platform, the check-in process was smooth and took only a few minutes. Check-out was equally straightforward, and we did not experience slow responses from the host. The location may feel slightly inconvenient depending on your travel plans. The property is a bit removed from the city center, and it takes about a 10-minute walk to the nearest station, which might not be ideal as a base for exploring all of Tokyo. However, we stayed mainly to visit the Asakusa and Tokyo Skytree areas and to enjoy board games, and since the nearest station was on the Oshiage Line with no transfers required, we did not find the location inconvenient. One minor concern is the noise. Because the house is located very close to the railway tracks, the building can feel as if it is slightly shaking when you lie down on the bed. One of our group mentioned they could not sleep without earplugs and an eye mask, so this accommodation may not be suitable for guests who are sensitive to noise or their surroundings. Personally, I was able to sleep without earplugs and did not find the noise disruptive enough to be a serious issue.
