We checked in at night, and the parking right in front of the unit was super convenient. The place was easy to find, thanks to clear check-in instructions. There’s a Lawson just a short walk away, and the street itself is quiet, making it a peaceful spot to relax.The house is spacious, fully equipped, and exactly as described in the listing. We were pleasantly surprised by how cozy and well-appointed everything was! The living room features a heated blanket table, perfect for the cold nights. We used the steamboat pot to prepare a delicious dinner—pro tip: make sure to buy ingredients in advance, as there isn’t a supermarket nearby. The kitchen had plenty of utensils, which was ideal for our group of four.Upstairs, the futons on tatami mats were spacious and incredibly comfortable. We all fell asleep instantly! The large bathtub, complete with onsen salt, was a lovely touch for a relaxing soak.A couple of things to note: the staircase is a bit steep, so we decided to leave our luggage downstairs. The house also had two toilets, a powder area, and was equipped with hairdryers and a straightener, which added to the convenience.Overall, this was a superb stay. Highly recommended! We wish we could have stayed longer—too bad we only had one night.Note for those self-driving: We left Kamakura for Hakone, and I’d advise caution if driving at night. The winding curves along the road can be challenging, especially with minimal street lights. Be sure to keep adjusting your headlights for better visibility.
