外輪山周廻歩道の特徴
初心者でも楽しめる、外輪山周廻歩道の美しい景色が魅力です。
鋭い初登りを越えた先に、楽しめるピクニックスポットがたくさんあります。
大涌谷や丸岳へのアクセスが便利で、素晴らしいハイキング体験ができます。
I'm not sure how to rate this trails difficulty as I'm quite the beginner but it was hard for me. Once you are up the initial ridge climb, it's not too bad. I thoroughly enjoyed it though and the views are truly stunning. I recommend taking this trail all the way to Marudake and then either come down otome pass, or continue to Mt Ashigahara and come down there. Took me about 5 hours to start here and come out at the entrance to otome pass, but I'm a beginner and rested and stopped to take photos a lot.

周辺のオススメ
TLDR: nice trail, steep but not technical, great views, good places to have a picnic, pack your trash out.I took this path up to Fujimigaoka park(about 50 minute in) then down a seemingly unmarked rrail then finally to Kojiri pass. The trails are pretty steep but not very technical, I would rate this as a high moderate, but I'm out of shape. It has many scenic views and multiple places you cam have a picnic with a view. Just please pack your trash back out. I'm attaching photos of the views and the difficult(for me) parts. Over all a great hike.
