三代沢本寿ギャラリーの特徴
型染絵で知られる三代沢本寿の作品を展示しているギャラリーです。
過去には森英恵が彼の作品をショーのバックドロップとして使用しました。
旧くて趣のある蔵の中で、アートが楽しめる特別な空間です。
A hidden gem of a ‘kataezome’ artist Motoki Miyosawa whose pieces are exhibited globally. Unfortunately not even Japanese people know too much about him. His work was inspired by diverse cultures around the world. Timeless artwork that should be appreciated by more people. Hanae Mori used one of his pieces as the backdrop for one of her shows in the past.I hope more people visit the gallery in Nakamachi (Matsumoto) and enjoy his work.The gallery is in a ‘kura’ where one of his sons used to have a Japanese style curry shop called Delhi.The ground floor is now a dried fruit shop.

型染絵で代表的な作家のギャラリー。とても有名な方で、民藝の表紙をやられてたり、松本市内でも作品や暖簾を目にすることがあります。とても良心的なギャラリー入館料です。一階のお土産1000円以上のレシートで無料で鑑賞できます。絵葉書なども販売されていて、とても素敵です！松本市美術館と併せてぜひ。
