Loved the furniture pieces here and would’ve bought more if we could ship them back home! We ended up purchasing two trays with a beautiful kumiko pattern. The shop owner kindly explained the history behind the design and even gifted us free tenugui. Everything is unique, handmade locally, and truly special.

この店の真骨頂は、飛騨にパイプを持つオーナーが提供する、最高の材を用いた一枚板のテーブルです。何故なら、東京などの都市圏に流通しているテーブルは、地元の目利きにより選り抜かれた後の残りだからです。

被精緻的木藝作品吸引而踏入了店內，裡頭有各種不同木頭製成的桌椅、時鐘、餐具和小物，每樣東西都令人驚艷！除了這個美麗的時鐘外，原本也想帶回可愛的兒童椅，可惜因運送不便無法如願。結帳時老闆提到所有的商品都是他親手製作的，讓人更感受到木頭與人情的溫暖💕

Most of the woodwork is created by the owner, his brother, and their friends, starting right from the timber harvesting process. They use a natural drying method to allow the wood grain to reveal its beauty slowly over time before crafting the final products. I was particularly drawn to the wooden clocks, which are incredibly unique and full of life. The wooden bowls and dining tables are also breathtaking, combining a warm touch with stunning natural textures. This level of craftsmanship, starting from the very source, gives every item a unique soul. When in Takayama, you must visit and experience their pure passion for woodworking.
