I'm not a drinker, but we decided to check out this place anyway based on the reviews.Really glad we did!Dan has created a visually interesting bar with a fantastic atmosphere. It felt that everyone there was part of a small community of friends and they were extremely welcoming.Dan ran the place himself, and was an interesting person who gave us some travel suggestions.One of the people we talked to offered us a lift home at the end of the evening, which we took up. We are really grateful for the positive experience we had here!
店のオーナーが日本語がうまくて英語ができなくても親切に会話してくれます。雰囲気もとても落ち着いてゆっくりお酒を楽しめることもできました！観光に和歌山に来てる人にもとてもお勧めするところです。
和歌山でアメリカの雰囲気を味わえるところを探して、ダンさんのバーに辿り着きました。日本人のお客さんもたくさんいましたし、英語の先生だったり、ビジネスで英語を使うために来ているお客さんもたくさんいるので、英語と日本語が混じった会話を楽しむことができました。おすすめですよー。I was looking for a place in Wakayama where I could experience an American atmosphere, and I ended up at Dan’s bar.There were plenty of Japanese customers, as well as many people who were either English teachers or came to use English for business.I really enjoyed the mix of English and Japanese in the conversations.Highly recommended!

I moved to Wakayama Prefecture earlier this year, and a friend of mine found this bar. As soon as you enter you'll be greeted warmly by Dan, the owner and bartender. This has become a regular spot to visit whenever I find myself in the city. His specialty drink is amazing, just be warned that it's a strong one. So, if you're looking to hang out with a cool Californian, with an excellent atmospheric bar, please pay Dan a visit. You won't regret it! It's a great place for all--Japanese, foreign tourists and residents alike.
