We had such a great stay at Comico Art House Yufuin. Sinomiya-san was super friendly from the moment we arrived—he helped us with our bags and gave us a quick tour so we knew where everything was, which we really appreciated after traveling.He also gave us some really solid recommendations for breakfast and dinner nearby, and they turned out to be spot on. We stayed in the “Taka” room and honestly loved it. The private indoor and outdoor onsen were a huge highlight—really relaxing and peaceful, especially with how quiet the area is.A couple of nice extras too: parking is free, and you get a free museum ticket that comes with a drink, which was a nice bonus.Overall it just felt like a really chill, comfortable place to stay. Would definitely come back.
Geheimtipp in Yufuin. wir genossen 2 Nächte in diesem tollen Haus. Alles perfekt. Super schönes Oasen (innen und aussen). ein Traum. Frühstück in einem Hotel nebenan. Würde sofot wieder buchen.
1年頑張った自分へのご褒美に…♪お部屋や温泉、食事はもちろん、スタッフの方々のお心遣いが素晴らしく、気持ちよく過ごすことができました！今回はTSUCHIに宿泊したので、次はTAKEに泊まれたらなと思います。穏やかで素敵な時間をありがとうございました。
予約制なので館内が混み合いすぎることもなく、ゆったりと自分のペースで鑑賞できるのがとても良かったです。静かで洗練された空間で、作品にじっくり向き合えます。湯布院の街自体も観光地として見どころが多く散策が楽しい場所ですが、その中でこの現代的な美術館は良いアクセントに。自然の中に溶け込む建築と現代アートが調和していて、湯布院の旅がさらに充実しました。
We had a wonderful and relaxing time! Room is beautiful, nice views into garden from both living and sleeping rooms. Bathroom includes private onsen baths: inside and outside. The one outside was my favorite one.Little kitchenette with coffee and tea facilities, fridge and washer/dryer is a nice bonus!The staff is very friendly. Helped us to make reservations for local restaurants. Train and bus station is just 10 minutes walking.

展覽館佈置得很靜謐 逛起來很有氛圍。
지난 번에 유후인 방문했을 때, 예약이 꽉 차있어서 못간게 아쉬워서 이번 여행엔 미리 예약했어요.쿠사마야요이 등 유명한 작가 작품이 있고, 코미코아트뮤지엄 로고는 무인양품 로고 디자이너가 제작했다고 하네요.미술관도 너무 멋있고, 2층 풍경은 더더욱 멋졌습니다. 더운 여름에 잠시 쉬어갈 수 있어서 좋았네요!
Well worth spending a bit of time to appreciate the art work by Japanese artists.Bonus is the second floor view of Mt. Fuyu.

So grateful I got to visit here that see the beautiful of nature and wonderful exhibition. Yufuin is a special place and this cute museum is greatly set up here. You can to enjoy the Mountain View by cafe shop, too !
