The best udon and miso soup I ever tested in Japan. The texture and flavour is so awesome. The owner is very nice. The price is very less compared to the ones in the city, though it is on the mountain. This is very cozy place and you got to see lots of owls here. I highly recommend this place.

Owned by a very nice old lady (and her friends?) who will serve you the most tasty home-made food at an unbelievable price. We came here after hiking the nearby area on a weekday. They only had one menu to offer us, but it was probably the best meal we could have asked for. Lots of vegetables with a healthy amount of meat. They even served us coffee/tea with small Japanese snacks.What a lovely restaurant owned by lovely people. It's a hidden gem.
