I bought these boots online at in Oakland, and I was fortunate enough to get premium service from them as I couldn't wear them both! The circumference of the shaft, at the crown level, on the left boot, was 1/4 inch shorter (see photos). As a result, it was literally impossible for me to put the left boot on, so I had to change it.There are also a few details in the design that I find flawed: the triangular leather windows, at the piping sections, are too short (see photos), and they do not cover the entire opening. And also the color of the boots is uneven (see photo), although this can be corrected with a good shoe polish. The boots are magnificent, the craftmanship and the horsehide butt leather of exceptional quality. Nevertheless, at the price paid, I would have expected them to be impeccable in every way...
