This is my 2nd year in a row using Nina’s services. We used sitters in Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo and I couldn’t be more pleased. As a single parent, these types of services allow me to travel with confidence knowing that I can truly enjoy my vacation instead of spending it just parenting in a different location. They ran, wrangled, fed, and entertained my son at USJ, out on family day trips, and took him on solo adventures without me so I could get some adult time. Worth every penny. Really grateful for this experience and the wonderful sitters we met! Thank you Nina!!!!
We had such a wonderful experience with this service. My husband and I were travelling for 3 weeks with our toddler and booked the service to have one night to ourselves. The communication was quick and effortless and our babysitter Phoebe was phenomenal. She quickly connected with our toddler who had never been looked after by someone she didn’t know. She sent us updates throughout the night and even cleaned out hotel for us before we got back! I would have no hesitation in recommending this service to anyone travelling in Japan.
Monomi babysat our two children (11 and 5 years old) and they had so much fun! They colored, played games, and the kids loved her so much. She was respectful and kind and enjoyed our kids. They are high energy and she was able to match their energy with fun and appropriate activities. We would 100% use Nina Poppins again and highly recommend monomi as a babysitter.
Phoebe was an excellent babysitter during our trip. Incredibly professional, and very warm and friendly. The children took to her immediately. She arrived with gifts and lots of fun for her first meet with the children ahead of the first babysitting evening. The way this was all managed definitely helped the kids feel settled. Whilst we only had 3 separate babysitting evenings, Phoebe had made enough of an impression on the kids to have them leaving a bit sad at saying g goodbye!Thanks Phoebe! Definitely made our trip extra special.
I cannot recommend Nina Popins enough.I came to Tokyo alone with my baby, and as any parent knows, traveling alone with an infant can be both exciting and overwhelming. There were many moments when I wasn’t sure how I was going to manage everything by myself, and finding reliable childcare in a foreign country felt intimidating. Reaching out to Nina Popins was one of the best decisions I made during my trip.First, I would like to thank Nina herself. From the beginning, she was kind, responsive, professional, and incredibly helpful. She made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Even now, she continues to help and support me during my stay in Tokyo. Her dedication, communication, and willingness to assist have given me so much peace of mind during my travels.I also had the opportunity to work with several babysitters through the agency, including thejani , honomi , and phoebe who were wonderful with my baby and provided excellent care.I would especially like to express my deepest gratitude to Phoebe. She was truly exceptional. She was patient, loving, attentive, and incredibly engaged with my baby. She kept him entertained, interacted with him constantly, and made sure he was happy and comfortable throughout the time she spent with him.What touched me the most was how much she went above and beyond what was expected. She made sure all of my baby’s bottles were washed, cleaned, and organized. She paid attention to the little details that make such a difference when you are traveling alone with a young child. She was not only caring toward my baby, but also thoughtful and supportive toward me as a mother.Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness made a lasting impression on me, and I will always remember her and thejani and honomi and Nina support during this trip.Thank you to the entire Nina Popins team for making my experience in Tokyo so much easier. Phoebe was absolutely wonderful with our two children (who are three and five) during our time in Kyoto. From the moment she arrived, she was warm, engaging, and incredibly attentive. She even brought toys and activities with her, which immediately won the kids over and made them so excited to spend time with her. It was clear right away that she genuinely enjoys working with children and knows how to make them feel comfortable and happy.Our kids completely adored Phoebe and kept asking when they would see her again. She was patient, playful, and handled everything with such ease and kindness, giving us total peace of mind while we were away. It can be stressful finding someone you trust while traveling, but Phoebe exceeded all expectations. We would recommend her without hesitation to any family visiting Kyoto looking for a caring, reliable, and truly exceptional babysitter.
Nina, Yuuka, Thejani, Lynn and Phoebe were absolutely wonderful with our son and our friends’ two boys during our trip to Tokyo and Kyoto. They were warm, professional, communicative, and immediately made us feel comfortable. All three boys were so happy, and it was clear they genuinely cared for the children.They spent time playing with the boys at the park and in the kids club, kept them entertained, and were so sweet and tender with them the entire time. We especially appreciated how professional and attentive Thejani was when our son became sick during the trip. She immediately called me with her concerns and handled everything so calmly and responsibly, which meant so much to us as parents traveling abroad.Having childcare you can truly trust makes all the difference when traveling, and we were incredibly grateful for the experience. We would absolutely use Nina Poppins again and highly recommend them to any family visiting Japan!

We had such a great experience with Honomi! She made our son feel so comfortable and brought him toys to play! We enjoyed a dinner out and were able extend 30 minutes after our original booking. We would absolutely recommend Nina Poppins for any Tokyo, Kyoto or Osaka child care needs!
