Erstaunlich lecker, sehr schön zubereitet. Wir sind erst von der anderen Seite vom hauptgeschäft rüber geleitet worden, dann war es aber sehr nett. Das Ei-Sandwich und das Steaksandwich waren beide sehr gut, die Pommes dazu in Ordnung. Preislich okay.
Nachdem ich viele positive Beiträge auf Instagram gesehen hatte, wollte ich Chermside Sandwich unbedingt ausprobieren. Die Wartezeit von etwa 40 Minuten war für mich völlig in Ordnung, da ich mit einem beliebten Laden gerechnet habe.Leider war die Enttäuschung danach umso größer. Das Fleisch hat uns geschmacklich überhaupt nicht überzeugt und entsprach nicht den Erwartungen, die durch die vielen Empfehlungen entstanden sind. Die Bedienung wirkte zudem etwas überfordert, was den Gesamteindruck nicht verbessert hat.Ein weiterer negativer Punkt war, dass es kaum beziehungsweise keine freien Sitzplätze gab, sodass das Essen vor Ort wenig angenehm war. Insgesamt hatte ich mir deutlich mehr erhofft. Für mich war das ein Beispiel dafür, dass Instagram und die Realität manchmal doch zwei verschiedene Dinge sind.

My husband was super excited to try this place and I decided to give it a try along with him. I had also seen this place on TikTok so I was pretty interested in tasting the menu. I will start off by saying that it’s definitely not bad and my husband was a fan of his sandwich. I however was unimpressed. I tasted his steak sandwich and the meat tasted bland in my opinion. The fries were okay as well.My katsu sandwich was not enjoyable for me. The meat was tender but it also tasted pretty plain. At the end of the day, it just felt like a huge slab of meat in between sandwich bread. The baguette sandwich we got to share was the better of the two and more enjoyable. The chicken nuggets were bad for me. Flimsy, not crispy and something about the texture of the inside of the nugget was super off putting. Mushy and stringy.The star of the dinner for me was the banana smoothie. Service was good and efficient. There was plenty of seating and it felt open. Lastly, the sandwich sets felt extremely overpriced. It just feels like a tourist trap honestly. 3 stars because my husband really did enjoy his sandwich and because the service was decent. Worth a try if you really enjoy a lot of meat in your sandwich and don’t mind paying a little more.

The food is absolutely scrumptious! Very tasty/flavorful, very savory. Initially discovered online but absolutely thrilled to confirm that every review read and watched till now was an absolute reflection of reality. I’d recommend it 1000% for great beer, perfectly cooked. Sauce in sandwich is subtle, but compliments the beef perfectly.. (took both medium rare and well cooked beef, would recommend medium rare).
