THE spot for a good time in Yamanouchi! Live music, or play your own live music! Board games,video games, and great conversations. Mike makes the best mixed drinks this side of Tokyo.
Really didnt think we get to have a proper jam in japan but Mikes got a great set up down there in the bunker bar. Also he is a gangster on the kick n snare . Cheers Lad
I stayed at the Snow Monkey Lodge for a few nights and went to the Bunker Bar twice. Video game night was awesome, super fun and easy to join as a solo traveller. Good way to get to know people
Fantastic little bar tucked away in Yudanaka. Cool vibe as it is ski themed and also underground! DJ’s were really great, was there for New Year’s Eve. Loved the atmosphere and will definitely be heading back again! Also had really good free wifi that is super ideal when traveling
I’ve enjoyed a good few nights here with friends. Music not too loud, good lighting, they stock coronas which is cool. They had DJ’s playing and Mario Kart on the Wii. Planning on coming back!

This was a great find! It’s located on the bottom floor of the Snow Monkey Lodge, serving great cocktails, local wines and sakes. The local bartender Mike knows the surrounding area well and is very informative. Wish we were staying longer!
