Taiji & Japan Star Travel Agency gave us the best tour of the Mt Fuji area. He knew all of the best spots including food, shopping, and views. He listened to our interests and tailored the trip to capture that. We learned so much about the local area. We would recommend to any of our family or friends. Thank you so much again!
Sumiko-san and the driver Mr Inagaki took us to Mt Fuji today. Sumiko-san is an amazing guide, very accommodating and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her and Japan Star Travel. She even took us vintage shopping and through the back streets of Shinjuku and Korea town when we were back in Tokyo. Arigato 🙏
We had such an amazing Mt Fuji tour with Sumiko and would absolutely recommend her to anyone visiting Japan. She was so kind, knowledgeable, and thoughtful throughout the whole day. What we loved most was that she took us to beautiful hidden spots away from the crowds, where we got the most incredible views of Mt Fuji.She also took us to a lovely local steakhouse for lunch, which made the experience feel even more special and authentic. After we returned to Tokyo, there was still some time left, and instead of ending the tour early, she kindly took us around and showed us more of the city.On top of that, Sumiko gave us so many great recommendations for restaurants and things to do across Japan, which was so helpful for the rest of our trip. She really went above and beyond, and you can tell she genuinely cares about giving people a wonderful experience. Five stars without a doubt!
My family toured Tokyo with our amazing tour guide, Mazda, on the Kamakura and Enoshima Island tour. We visited many sites, and despite the busy streets following the new year, we were able to go everywhere we wanted to. We felt incredibly safe the entire time and our tour guide handled all the logistics and planning. Mazda is also a phenomenal photographer and got many great photos. I would 100% recommend this guide to a friend and will be reaching back out to them if in the city again!!
We had a terrific Mt. Fuji tour with our guide, Yoshimi, and our driver, Toshi! We were two families traveling with young children, and they created an entertaining and educational experience that everyone truly enjoyed, with beautiful views of Mt. Fuji to top it off. Yoshimi was incredibly knowledgeable and even provided hand-drawn illustrations to help explain things. We were very fortunate to have excellent weather and were able to see Mt. Fuji from multiple viewpoints, with Yoshimi even checking live cameras to ensure the views would be good.The highlight for the kids was definitely the playground overlooking Mt. Fuji! The Toyota HiAce was very comfortable and spacious for all of us and our large amount of luggage as we traveled from Hakone to Fuji and onward to Tokyo. Our only regret is that this was the last tour of our trip—we wish we could have booked them earlier. Highly recommend!
From late October to early November, my wife and I embarked on a Japan trip thoughtfully planned by Taiji and Amy. We enjoyed personalized tours of Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto, and Osaka, along with memorable stops in Hakone for a hot springs ryokan stay, Mt. Fuji, and the Ghibli Museum and Park.One of the highlights of our trip was the fugu dining experience. The fugu was prepared with exceptional skill, and its delicate flavor made the meal truly unforgettable.The otaku tour was fantastic as well. Hiro was a true expert on anime culture and took us to places we had never been before. I expected a simple trip to Akihabara, but it turned out to be so much more.I highly recommend contacting Japan Star Travel Agency if you want a truly bespoke experience in Japan.
Wonderful tour of Nikko and Mount Tsukuba. We were able to enjoy all the natural and cultural beauty of Nikko with Kaz and our private chauffeur. Kaz was very knowledgeable and adapted very well to our interests. Highly recommend Kaz and Amy with Japan Star Travel Agency!Kaz is also an amazing photographer. We have wonderful memories of our time in Japan thanks to his photography skills.Amy was very helpful with guiding me in which train to take when I arrived at the airport as well as any other questions or concerns that I had.Our chauffeur was a great driver as well.

We had a wonderful experience with Japan Star Travel. From our initial inquiries, to planning the trip, to the tour, we found everything to be first class and the staff was great. While each site was interesting, the highlight was the night we spent at the foot of Mt. Fuji in the Villa Gakiroku Suien - a home that dates back about 200 years. It was an amazing experience with first class food and service, and a great tea ceremony. Thanks Japan Star Travel.
