It’s a short walk from the trailhead to the kiln ruins but the forest is quiet and there is a lot of bird life There are benches and covered seating areas along the path but would not recommend using them in the autumn due to the numerous hornet nests found under the roofs. The replica ancient kiln is interesting and you are able to look inside to see how they used to bake their ceramics in that era.
