Yuki provided a wonderful experience for me and my sister. We learned about the traditions of the Japanese tea ceremony and made Matcha tea. We enjoyed choosing and wearing Kimonos. She is a wonderful host and is passionate about sharing her knowledge of traditional tea ceremonies with her guests! I highly recommend this to those visiting Japan!
My husband and I went to Japan for the first time recently. Hiroshima is a must-see area. In Hiroshima, we met Yuki to learn how to perform a type of tea ceremony. Everything about this experience was fantastic!Yuki and her mother and her student were all so friendly and welcoming. We did the "tea ceremony with kimono" and the women spent a long time making sure I was dressed up properly and fancy! Even upon leaving the ceremony, Yuki fixed my hair so I would look nice after we left, what great customer service!We spent about 3hours here, and learned lots about tea ceremony and how intricate of a process it is. It was very interesting, and we loved performing the ceremony with Yuki's detailed English instructions.It was cultural, fun, and overall one of the best parts of our trip to Japan. We highly recommend this to anyone either local or international who is in Japan!
My wife and I did the private tea ceremony in kimono at Tessen and it was incredible! We learned about the history of tea ceremony, were instructed on the various tea ceremony procedures, and got to enjoy our own hand-made tea with wagashi desserts. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Japan and I can’t thank Yuki and her team enough for their kindness and hospitality!
Yuki and Hiroko were fantastic hosts, a must do activity in Hiroshima!We went to their flat so it was a great insight into real Japanese living. They were welcoming and Insightful we learnt so much and asked many questions, then we enjoyed a traditional tea ceremony in traditional dress!Definitely one of our highlights whilst in Japan!
We did the matcha tea ceremony experience with Yuki and Kyoko - it was a fantastic time! Yuki was very knowledgeable about the tea ceremony process and we got to drink tea, eat some delicious sweets, and try our own hand at making some matcha tea. Would highly recommend for any visitors in the Hiroshima area.
We had a great experience with Yuki, a 25 years teacher of tea ceremony. She had the patience to explain all the history of tea ceremony, and all the Japanese sentences to say at the different times ("osakini",...)We had the time to taste the tea and to make our own tea.As a tea amator, I do recommend !

Our family of four shared a special cultural experience with Yuki and Hiroko. This was a highlight of our time in Japan and shared in the genuine experience of the traditional Tea Ceremony and local Hiroshima cuisine cooking class. Our children aged 10, 12 also were engaged and interested. We enjoyed sharing the delicious meal we all cooked at the end! Thankyou for sharing this beautiful culture with us.
