The previous flat rate of 300 yen for 30 minutes has increased to 1,485 yen for 30 minutes (49.5 yen per minute), with a temporary discounted rate of 1,185 yen available only until March 1, 2026. Aeon explains this increase as part of a service upgrade, including expanded payment options, a 24-hour support center, and gradual equipment updates, but in practice this represents a roughly fivefold price increase for rapid charging. EV drivers, especially CHAdeMO users, should be aware that this location is no longer a low-cost or casual top-up option and is now priced closer to premium fast-charging networks.Also On the 4th floor of Tsudanuma AEON.It seems like the 8 J1172 chargers have all been changed to ENEOS. They are still activated with the WAON card though. They have an option to choose 3 kW or 6 kW however 6 kW was grayed out. It costs just under ¥120 for one hour of 3 kW charging, with options for up to three hours.
