We were visiting Tokyo during a holiday from the UK where we worship regularly in an FIEC (Independent, evangelical, reformed church). In researching churches in Tokyo online, we discovered RCJ.Our brothers and sisters there were overwhelming welcoming, and made every effort to make us feel welcome and fully involved despite our language barrier (we don’t speak Japanese, thankfully several in the congregation spoke extremely good English!)The church clearly stands to glorify God through the faithful preaching of His word, and participating in sung worship and corporate prayer. God clearly has blessed this church’s faithfulness - they have a large youth ministry, as well a full range of adult ages attending.It was possibly the warmest reception we’ve ever experienced. Whether you’re a Christian looking for a faithful local church (while on holiday or otherwise!) or someone who is new to Christianity and seeking to learn who Jesus is, why He came to earth, and what it means to follow and trust Him - we couldn’t recommend RCJ strongly enough.
