Akiyo-san is so friendly and knowledgeable to share many things before we even arrive. She was a great host and she even noticed things like my birthday! She is very attentive and sweet where she listed down almost everything in English so that we know what it is for. It’s so near to Shinjuku and with luggage, it was so convenient for us to get from the train station to this place. I would definitely recommend this stay to my friends and relatives going to Tokyo!
What more can I say about Akiyo’s place & her hospitality?! From the communication prior to check in, to her meeting up with us at the train station upon our arrival, providing local recommendations, allowing & signing for an overnight delivery because we forgot our International Driver’s licenses back in the states, being so sweet & friendly, to having a sweet honeymoon gift at the residence doesn’t even cover how wonderful of a host she is! Everything in the home was labeled to assist us with Japanese appliances or locating things within the rooms while being extremely clean & stocked with all things we may need. The residence is located right next to the train system so going to & from was a breeze, not to mention right around the corner from convenience stores & luggage delivery services, which she assisted us with a well! We made a friend at a local creek she recommended & he plans on recommending it to his foreign friends who come to visit because we had such a great experience!
We stayed four days at Akiyo’s place and everything was perfect : it was very clean and comfortable. The area is quiet but there are nice restaurant close by but most of all, Akiyo is a wonderfull host. She has been really helpful and welcoming. Thanks again!
Stayed here for a few days during the holiday season. The host was extremely nice and welcoming. The apartment was very nice and clean. It has a good amount of space and a washing machine, so you don't have to go to a laundromat. I would highly recommend staying here.
My mother and sister and I spent seven days at the IO Lux Duplex, and it was a wonderfully pleasant experience. When you have luggage, this property is very convenient to go to as it is located close to the Minami Asagaya Station (M2) exit gate. You can reach the exit gate using the elevator. It will be simple for you to get meals because this house is close to both Yoshinoya Restaurant and 711. The rooms are tidy and well-kept. You won't need to pack as many clothing to Japan because they have a laundry machine. The owner is incredibly helpful and courteous; she suggests restaurants, points of interest, and even assists with filling out the Yamato form.
We stayed at this lovely duplex over Christmas 2023 and was very pleased with our experiences.First and foremost, the location is amazing as it is located super close to Minami-asagaya Station (Metro subway M-02, Marunouchi Line), 1 minute walk only. This station also has an elevator exit which makes it extremely convenient if you travel with luggages. You can reach Shinjuku in 15 minutes my subway from here.The unit has one bedroom and a sofa bed which was picked by my kids to sleep in and they loved it. We are very happy with the cleanliness and the bedding comfort. The duplex is well-stocked with cooking and laundry essentials. I really appreciate the English labels on the appliances and other equipments as I can't read Japanese.Also, everything looks new which makes our stay even more pleasant :)
