مسجد shin-okuboの特徴
新宿のアパート複合体内に位置し、アクセスは少々難しいです。
男性用エリアは4階、女性用は3階にあり、広々とした礼拝空間があります。
地元コミュニティに根ざした雰囲気があり、訪れる価値があります。
Near train station. Just follow the direction in google maps and arrived. Men at 4th floor. Women 3rd floor
Nice and specious arrangement for Salah. Just bit difficult to find and have to take stairs all the way to 4th floor
Very hard for me to give this place 3*I am extremely grateful to find a place to pray not far from Shinjuku but if you are a tourist a heavily recommend to find another place if you can afford to travel without losing prayer time.The place was a bit hard to find, it’s located in what looks like an appartement complex turned into a multiple stores/businesses.You have different stores and services available in the same building and there is a strong “market smell” in the street and in the staircase all the way up to the praying space.Personally I couldn’t hold up very long and left as soon as I finished praying.I think this place is more catered for locals living nearby, there is a strong community aspect in the neighborhood and sadly the mosque is in a very odd location.That said there is a good amount of space inside and congregation prayer space is available, and let’s face it, there is not a lot of alternatives nearby and it’s already good enough to be able to find a mosque.
As a first-timer here, the place is a bit confusing. The men’s area is on the 4th floor, while the women’s area is on the 3rd. The women’s wudu area on the 3rd floor isn’t exactly ideal.Still, I’m grateful there’s a mosque here. Hopefully it will always be well maintained.
Masjidnya cukup luas. Bagian laki-laki dan perempuan berada di lantai yang berbeda. Mereka menyediakan mukena beserta alquran yang dapat dipakai secara bebas.
