ISB Books, what a magical place. I walked a bit from Koenji to get here, but you can walk from a few different stations and still find it no problem.The warm light invited me in, that and the tantalizing window displays of various retro technologies, wooden toys and colorful everything. The inside is jam-packed with creative goodies from creators all over the world and my brain almost exploded from sensory overload. It's a little like a small universe in here, but one you'd never want to leave-- it'd be really easy to just leaf through zines and booklets and look at postcards for hours and hours.And the staff! Super duper friendly and wears a hat! Feel free to ask her about it. The store's Instagram is also great, so I recommend following the account to get the latest and greatest updates on new releases and shop hours. Of course I was there to investigate the creative goodies by the multifaceted CHUROW and boy was I not disappointed. I managed to control myself (barely) and didn't buy everything I looked at, but of course I will return in the near future to lighten my wallet even further. Ah, commerce!As a bonus, look at this picturesque shrine right next door! Sakura and lanterns and everything you'd expect from the wonderful world of Tokyo. Five stars. Five stars forever.
