The street is lined with many small shops selling everything from Japanese sweets, matcha snacks, folding fans, yukata, magnets, chopsticks, to handmade traditional souvenirs. Even if you do not plan to shop much, the atmosphere alone already makes the visit worth it.🍡🍵 One of the best parts here is trying the street food. You can easily find freshly grilled snacks, ningyo-yaki, senbei, matcha treats, and many seasonal Japanese sweets. The smell of freshly cooked food mixed with the traditional surroundings creates a very authentic Tokyo experience.🏮 The area becomes even more beautiful because of its historical vibe. This street definitely feels like a tourist trap, with lots of shops full of overpriced souvenirs and few good food outlets. It's an experience worth having, but I wouldn't go back.
