周辺のオススメ
Tomyou-ji was once a Buddhist temple, but has now been abandoned, and its main hall, the only structure left, is falling into disrepair. Judging from the remains of an aerial I found in the undergrowth nearby, it was abandoned post-WW2. The grave markers of several resident priest scan be seen to the rear of the hall, and many carvings representing various Wisdom Kings and Bodhisattvas can be seen still standing in front of it.Getting here is a challenge, or at least the route I took was. I took a "trail" up from Hadachi, due south, but what was marked on the GSI map as a trail was only such for the first 2 or 3 hundred metres, and the final fifty. Everything in between was "bush bashing" up the valley, with constant use of hands, and much climbing over fallen trees, etc. However, the ridges running east and west from the site look much more walkable, and presumably make for a much easier approach.
