The host, Emi, is delightful and very warm. She provides excellent suggestions for sightseeing and genuinely cares deeply about her guests. The guesthouse is very cozy and also very clean. The location is also very convient. We would definitely stay at Kian again and recommend this guesthouse to others!
実家に帰ったような雰囲気が最高でしたお部屋も寝具も清潔オーナーのお心配りも至れり尽くせり。
閑かでゆっくりと過ごせました。仲間と貸切に出来たので、気兼ねなく過ごしました。また朝にしじみ汁をいただいたり、茶室で過ごしたりと松江ならではの文化に触れました。お城にも近く、散策を楽しみました。
I stayed at Kian last week, for 5 days, at Kian with my wife and we were both extremely happy and staying there. The host, Emi, is so thoughtful; she takes excellent care of the place. As a foreign traveler, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to experience traditional Japanese hospitality.The Kian guesthouse is very clean and comfortable. While most of the house is an older traditional style, the bathrooms, showers and kitchen are very modern. Our destination was Matsui Castle, the Hearn Museum, the Hearn house and the samurai street primarily. These are all within 5 or so minute walk.The quaint little neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet. There is no traffic. And you can actually see Matsue Castle by taking a few steps from the front door!A huge plus is that the host, Emi, speaks very good English and was helpful in answering our questions and making many suggestions about places to see.For anyone traveling to Japan who wants more than just a hotel stay, I can’t recommend this guest house enough.
The best part about our stay at KIAN, only a stone's throw from Matsue Castle, was the host, a lovely local lady. She was so happy to host us in her hometown, speaking good English, and knowledgeable about Matsue as well. She pointed us in the direction of Iroha, which served us one of the best meals we've had since arriving in Japan two months ago. I would definitely recommend KIAN to anyone.
松江観光の際に4人で宿泊しました！ゲストハウスのような形は初めてでしたが、大変良くしていただき素敵な旅となりました。近くに松江城があり、その周辺の観光に加え美味しいご飯屋さんについてもたくさん教えていただきました。こちらのメールでの不手際があったにも関わらず快く対応してくださり感謝しております。お抹茶をいただける癒しの時間を与えてくださったことにより、休息を取ることができました。また島根に旅行に来る際は宿泊したいと考えています。ありがとうございました。
リーズナブルな宿なのであまり期待していなかったのですが裏切られました。価格以上の満足感です。
