One of the best locations you can ask for. Being in Kanamecho puts you right outside of Ikebukuro's busy range while still being close not only the trains, but to markets as well.The area is quiet and clean, so if you visit you better keep it that way!Some of the furniture is a little dirty looking or beatup from other visitors, but is not a big deal.The house also has a few useful items easily reachable such as drain catches for the bathrooms and kitchen, or laundry detergent.Perhaps the most important thing to mention is the size. This is one of the few places in Tokyo you can comfortably fit 4 to 8 people depending on if you share a bed.
