I have a beautiful handmade cutting board made from wood that looks like a gemstone unearthed from a cavern thanks to Lifa's amazing craftsmanship. I highly recommend any Kodama products and what a nice homestay! Definitely stop by, stay for a while and pick something up from the gallery, 200% worth it!
I stayed at the Kodama house with my 2 small children & husband. Lifa & Aki are such wonderful people! They also make delicious meals. We had dinner & breakfast with them. I especially loved the homemade bread for breakfast & their coffee. This is our 2nd time staying there. If you have kids or have a childlike curiosity & sense of adventure, you will especially love this place! But if you want to just enjoy the scenery & bask in the delicious aroma of the mountain, you’ll be instantly refreshed & revitalized. Their tap water is so good too! Be sure to bring a water bottle! ** I purchased a cutting board that was made by Lifa. I love it so much! Slowly building up my Kodama collection. Thank you all for being so awesome. I slept really well.
Me and my family (2 kids) stayed at Ohad's place for a few days - he offers a kind of bed & breakfast (and lunch, and dinner... if you want) in their rustic home.Ohad and his family are welcoming, generous hosts. I can fully recommend this pretty unique experience located in the deep, beautiful countryside of Japan (so deep actually that the local train driver approached me to inquire if we know where we're going...)
The high quality creations of Ohad's studio are both practical and beautiful in form. Excellent hand made pieces of art.
