We went to Japan for the first time in March 2026. Due to being totally disorganised I am only doing my reviews now. My partner and I had a wonderful stay here. Emily was the perfect host and the staff were lovely. Emily speaks very good English and was happy to chat to us. As we are plant based and cannot eat or drink dairy, eggs or fish or meat they cooked us delicious vegan food which was so tasty. The accommodation was really comfortable and there was plenty of parking for our rental car. The air conditioning worked well and it was relaxing hearing the sound of the waterfall close by. A View of Mount Fuji. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Cycle tourist here. I just got lucky and found this wonderful traditional guest house. Perfectly located to visit the temple and waterfall. The host is warm and welcoming. The food was great. If I was staying longer I would definitely visit her nearby restaurant.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The place felt very cozy and comfortable, and everything was spotless from the moment I arrived. The room was well-equipped with everything I needed, and the bed was so comfortable.A big plus is the host, who speaks Japanese, English, and Chinese. Communication was smooth and easy, and the host was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay.The bathroom was one of the cleanest I’ve seen—very well maintained, with no smell at all. The kitchen was also very clean and fully equipped with everything needed for cooking.Breakfast was delicious and definitely one of the highlights of my stay. It was prepared with care and was a great way to start the day.The the view 10/10!!❤️❤️❤️Overall, this place exceeded my expectations. It’s clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained, and I would happily stay here again the next time I visit. Highly recommended! 😊
Je suis arrivé à cette auberge au bout d’un mois à dormir en hostel classique où le moindre espace est optimisé. Quel fut un plaisir de trouver un endroit où je dors dans une chambre avec un bon lit et non une cabine en dortoir avec une courte intimité.J’y ai passé trois délicieux jours avec la maison pr moi tt seul car la vue n’était pas dégagée sur le mont fuji. J’ai pu me relaxer, travailler, faire du sport. L’hôte est d’une gentillesse rare, les copieux petit-déjeuner m’ont donné de l’énergie pr avancer ds mes projets et m’ont donné la sensation d’être chez ma mère. Je crois que c’est le plus beau compliment que je puisse donner.
Super love this inn! Comfortable room, very good location, super humble, helpfull & friendly owner! The owner can speak english which make it super easy to communicate.The room is traditional japanese style room with very good view of rural japan neighbourhood. The best part is full functional toilet and japanese style bathroom. You must not miss the 2nd floor bathroom with mount Fuji view.Full functional kitchen is available with microwave, stove, drinkable water. So it's okay if you want to reheat food you buy at convenience store. FYI seven eleven convenience store is only 5 minutes on foot. Every morning the owner prepared breakfast which is very good!If you are Nichiren Shoshu believers planning for Tozan Pligrimage, this inn is perfect since it's only 15 minutes to Taesekiji on foot. If you have difficulty walking, the owner can arranged the transportation.Will look forward to be back here soon!
