Ahhh Camp Fuji, best thing about this place is running a PFT if your unit can swing it.Its 3 miles downhill, youve never seen so many 300's 😂😂
Combined Arms Training Center (CATC) Fuji is an exceptional facility for military training, set against the stunning backdrop of Mount Fuji. As the headquarters of the U.S. Marine Corps’ operations in Japan, it offers top-notch training areas and resources for various units. The base is well-maintained, with dedicated personnel ensuring everything runs smoothly. The location provides both rigorous training opportunities and the chance to experience the cultural richness of Japan. The staff is professional, helpful, and always mission-focused. An ideal place for Marines and other service members to hone their skills!

Nice to know the Corps is there. In 75 was with Echo Comoany 2/9 BLT float for quite some time for cold weather training and gaurding open artillery munitions storage in the snow. No base at that time - just empty rotting quonset huts with a 300 yard walk to the showers through the snow. Was a blast there. Have a lot of memories from there. Was wild and young at the time. We had live fire at several ranges there and war games.
