Watching wrestlers compete up close made this sumo experience feel real. I found it on an activity-booking site because I wanted to see sumo nearby. Stepping onto a real dohyo and trying challenge sumo was exciting. The room’s history as a working sumo stable gave the session extra meaning. The bouts were powerful at close range. English explanations of the history and rules were easy to follow. Tradition was presented in a lively, accessible way. The modern show format sat naturally alongside sumo’s roots. I was very satisfied with the experience. First-time visitors to Japan and families with children would enjoy it.
目の前でぶつかり合う力士の動きに、最初から目が離せませんでした。旅の体験予約サイトで見つけ、間近で相撲を見て土俵にも上がれることに惹かれて申し込みました。実際に土俵へ立つ相撲体験は少し緊張しましたが、力士と挑戦できて忘れられない時間です。見るだけで終わらず自分も加われるので、ほかの日本文化の催しとは違う楽しさがあります。力士との写真撮影や交流の時間もあり、思い出を形に残せました。英語で相撲の伝統を説明してもらえたので、流れを理解しながら楽しめました。初めて日本を訪れる人にも、相撲をもっと知りたい人にも合うと思います。体験後もしばらく、土俵に立ったときの緊張感が残っていました。
相撲見ながら食事も美味しくて凄く楽しかったです。彼女も本当に初めての経験で喜びすぎて私も楽しかったです。新しいデートスポットになりそうですねまた伺います～

We went here for the sumo experience with chanko nabe and had an absolute fantastic time! The former stable opens a bit before the actual start of the event and let's you get situated at the tables. They served delicious chanko nabe, rice and pickles and gave an informative presentation about sumo. Fuji was a great host and Tokitora and Tokiarashi gave incredible demonstrations in the ring! They had such good chemistry and really made this super fun. The absolute highlight was to step into the ring ourselves. The organisers provided training clothes to change into and the rikishi helped put on the belt. We got to try the exercises and then wrestle one of the rikishi! If you are at all interested in sumo, I highly recommend this place. You could tell how much love and enthusiasm for the sport and traditions was put into this experience and we absolutely loved it.
