コルベ神父記念館は、貴重な遺物が多く展示されている場所です。
聖母の騎士修道院では、マキシミリアノ・マリア・コルベ神父の歴史を学べます。
教会内には、コルベ神父の髪の1級聖遺物が安置されています。

Extremely underrated location with lots of rare and valuable relics of St. Maximilian Kolbe. Here, he lived for 6 years and founded a monastery. He was very fond of Japan and prayed deeply for the people. In the church there is a rare 1st class relic of the hair of St. Maximilian Kolbe. Absolutely a worth while visit!
コルベ記念館がありとにかく神父様が優しいです。教会の中もイエス様とマリア様が縦一列に並んでおり ホッと出来る教会です。
コルベ神父記念館勉強になります。
ポーランド人のカトリック司祭（神父）、マキシミリアノ・マリア・コルベ神父（コンヴェンツアル聖フランシスコ修道会）は、戦後戦災孤児の救援に奔走したゼノン・ゼブロフスキー修道士等を伴って、１９３０年４月に長崎に到着。その後、この地に『無原罪の聖母の騎士修道院』を創設した。コルベ神父は、その後、ポーランドに帰国し、第二次世界大戦中、ナチスによって数度逮捕され、最期は、アウシュビッツ強制収容所において、ポーランド人軍曹の身代わりになって殺された。 同敷地内には、コルベ神父当時のものはほとんど残っていないが、コルベ記念館には、僅かに遺品が残され、展示されている。 修道院の裏山には、フランスの巡礼地であるルルドを模倣したルルドがある。 また、前ローマ教皇・ヨハネパウロ二世が当修道院を訪問したこともある。

周辺のオススメ
The peace and tranquillity of this place was just what I needed after four weeks of travelling around Japan. Though it wasn't high on my list of places to visit in Japan it ended up being one of the highlights and a welcome respite from the hordes of tourists as I basically had the place to myself.
