Exceptional Learning Experince!MLC Meguro is an absolute recommendation for anyone to kick-start or level-up Japanese skills effectively! I started with N3 refresher private classes followed by N2 group lessons, eventually passing the JLPT N2 exam within ~8 month. The staff was incredibly responsive and friendly, the scheduling was very flexible and seamless throughout the courses. The experienced teachers excel at remote and online teaching, tailoring the classes to individual weaknesses and critical points of improvements. The MLC materials, complementing the Kanzen Master books, provide a solid foundation and nuanced understanding of grammar. Thanks to Yamanokuchi-Sensei, who is leading one of the N2 group courses, I have rediscovered the fun in learning Japanese, and I will pursue N1 and smoothen my business conversation as my next goals.Highly recommended for anyone seeking measurable progress in Japanese language skills!
I have taken private lessons from MLC for 4 years now, both in person and when Covid19 started, online. They've always been helpful and flexible in working towards my goals and needs. I have worked on speaking practice, JLPT preparation, and even practical situations like going to the hospital. I am now reading a Japanese novel with my teacher. I am leaving Japan soon, but will continue to stay with them because I have enjoyed my experience and Sensei so much. Thanks MLC!
Have studied with MLC for over two years now (via Skype) and can say the lessons are excellent. My tutor does the lessons in a way to meet the goals that I want to reach, so I improve in all aspects, go through textbooks and study materials but also specifically work on speaking and chatting practice which is often overlooked (and I previously always avoided!).Through the lessons I've become more confident and am much happier speaking in Japanese, and am always able to ask questions of any aspect which I find confusing.I would recommend MLC to anyone looking to improve their language skills either within Japan or distant learning.
教師は非常に有能で、個別のレッスンプランと学習教材で目標を達成するのに役立ちます。一生懸命働く準備ができていれば、素晴らしい結果と非常にネイティブのようなスピーチを得ることができます。彼らは学生ビザをサポートしていないため、ほとんどの学生は日本に長期滞在しています。これは、あらゆるレベルでの言語発達をサポートするのに適した学校であり、特に習熟度テストや専門的な使用のために上級日本語を微調整します。（原文）The teachers are very competent and will help you reach your goals with individualized lesson plans and study material. If you are ready to work hard you can get great results and very native-like speech. They do not support student visas and therefore most student are living in Japan long-term. This is good school to support your language development at whatever level and especially fine-tune advanced Japanese for proficiency test or professional use.
私はここで数年間勉強していて、それは素晴らしい選択でした。すべての先生はとても親切です。彼らはレッスンを本当に楽しくします。彼らはあらゆるレベルのためにたくさんの資料と本を持っています。（原文）I have been studying here for several years and it was a great choice. All the teachers are super nice. They make the lessons really fun. They have lots of materials and books for every level.
It’s a good school located near Meguro station. The teachers are lovely and very nice to learn Japanese from !
対面でもスカイプ経由でも素晴らしい教師。私は学校で大成功を収めました。優れたワークシートと追加の資料を使用して、学習していることを常に強化してください。（原文）Great teachers both in person and via skype. I've had great success with the school. The reinforce constantly what you're learning with great worksheets and additional materials.
I am mostly very happy with my Sensei and MLC. They are certainly flexible, professional towards your needs and very dedicated. Their worksheets really give you an extra boost. They are a bit inflexible with regard to the choice of textbooks (it is just JBP, Intermediate Japanese, Try! Kanzen Master etc). I sometimes find it hard to follow their explanations when it comes to more advanced "nuances"/concepts of the language. I have tried many schools but this is the one I have stuck to for over three years ... So, yes, they are good and know their job. :)
本当に良い学習環境。日本語の勉強に大いに役立ちました。日本語の試験の勉強をより消化しやすいものにする多くの資料を受け取りました2からN1レベルまで2年間学習（原文）Really good learning environment. Helped me a lot in studying Japanese. Received a lot of materials that made studying for the Japanese test a lot more digestibleStudied 2 years from N2 to N1 level

MLC ist eine tolle Sprachschule! Ich habe vor einigen Jahren vor Ort in Tokyo Privatunterricht genommen und nun online. Meine Lehrerin ist sehr erfahren und geht sehr gut auf meine Bedürfnisse ein. Auch das Sekretariat ist sehr zuvorkommend. Die Arbeitsblätter sind abwechslungsreich und eine sehr gute Ergänzung zum Lehrbuch.
